I am a rule follower with a little rebel nature. I am a reality tv show lover. I am a kid at heart. I am an extrovert. I am a friend. I am me. I can see clearly now...

Grace is the proud owner of a pair of pink glasses! She bugged & bugged us to take her to the eye doctor because her "eyes hurt and everything is bluzzy (blurry)". We figured that since 2 of her friends at school have glasses she wanted some too. So the appointment was made and off we went to have her eyes checked. Much to our chagrin, she did in fact need glasses due to a condition called "accommodative esotropia". In basic terms she has a lazy eye (passed down from her Daddy) and needs glasses to help correct & strengthen her little eye. It is a condition that she may outgrow...her vision overall is pretty good. We were shocked! She on the other hand was beside herself with excitement! She kept asking the doctor, "so, do I need glasses or what?" They set her up with a cute little pair of glasses that are virtually indestructible...which is a good quality for a 4 year old with an eyeglass-grabbing little brother! We picked them up on Friday and she has spent the weekend getting used to them. She looks so grown up in them!

  1. She looks absolutely adorable. I can't really tell that her glasses are pink but they are cute. Seriously, baby Uke would grab her glasses off her face?!
