We decided to take off on a spur of the moment trip to Texas. Darren really wanted to see his mom so we packed up on a Thursday night & headed out early Friday morning. We drove straight through, which was a first for us...it took us right at 9hours. The kids did GREAT during the entire trip & we were so thankful for that! It was a surprise to his mom...everyone else knew we were coming. While we were there we spent a ton of time with Darren's mom & dad (Meme & Pops), his sister Teresa & her son Blake, his other sister Kem, her husband John, & daughter Lauren and his twin sister, Karen. We had an early Christmas where Grace & Luke were able to open up gifts in front of everyone. I am so glad we decided to drop everything & go because the trip meant a lot to everyone involved!
