Before and After

I have finally painted the kid's bathroom as well as both of their rooms! I am so glad that they are done! I love color & love having color in my home, but I am not always positive the colors I choose are going to turn out okay! I let the kids have a little say in their room colors. I picked out a few shades that I thought were good & they made the final choice. Luke could have cared less as long as his room was blue. Grace, on the other hand, had a little more input in her color. At first she wanted yellow, then it changed to pink & she finally decided on purple. Wow!

I found painting rather easy this go round. I had only a few mishaps (paint on the ceiling in all 3 rooms!) & I actually think I got more paint on the walls than on me or my dropcloths. Phew, that's a relief. Once I was finished I told Darren I would paint our room & bathroom, but that we would be hiring a professional for the living room/kitchen/dining area. I like a challenge, but um, that's a bit much!
