The World According to Grace...

I have a special journal that I write down all the cute/funny things both my kids say & do. Grace's is overflowing & Luke's is starting to get that way as well! I started Grace's in 2006 when her personality was really beginning to blossom. I enjoy looking back & remembering her viewpoints on her little world. I decided to share a few of her thoughts on my blog each week (thanks to my friend Holly for the idea...she did the same thing with her oldest son). So, I hope you enjoy the World According to Grace!!

Darren & I were the VIPS in Grace's class one Sunday morning at church. A little boy in her class was chasing her around the room & hugging her. At first she was fine with it, but it soon bothered her. She stopped dead in her tracks & said, "stop, you wrinkle my dress!"

-2 years old

Grace got frustrated with Darren & I because we were acting silly...surprising, huh?! She told us, "you stress me out!!"

I had just delievered Luke & Nana brought Grace up to the hospital to meet him. She was holding him in her lap & singing him songs. He started to cry & without missing a beat she looked up & said, "oh man, he's had a bad day!"

Grace took a drink of Darren's water & told him,

"don't drink that...my breath is in there & it's gross!"

One night I did something to make Grace mad. She walked into our bedroom to see her Daddy & she told him, "oh that woman makes me so mad!"
