Last Thursday was my 32nd birthday. It was a fun day spent with my incredible little family! The kids & I started our day off at Dunkin' Donuts...they were SO excited because I let them go in their pj's!! We hung out for most of the day...just a relaxing sort of day. When Darren got home it was present time & then we headed out to Pappadeaux for dinner. It's funny how the kids tend to get more excited for our birthdays than we do! Grace was asking what kind of party I wanted & what kind of cake I would like to have. She was most excited as Luke hasn't grasped the whole birthday thing yet (but I imagine by his 3rd birthday in June he will have it all down). They were so excited to help me unwrap my presents as well! I got some new Yellow Box flip flops that I had my eye on, a Cotton Flower scented WoodWick candle & the book Eat This, Not That: Supermarket Survival Guide.
The birthday celebration continued through to the weekend. We packed up on Friday afternoon & drove to my parent's house in Victoria, TX. I attended the Beth Moore Simulcast with my Mom while Darren & Papa took the kids to the Texas Zoo & Texas Drive In for lunch. We celebrated with dinner that night at Tokyo Grill. It was a fun weekend! It was exciting not to have to pack the entire house for the trip & that it only took 3 1/2 hours to get there!! That is probably the best gift ever!!
Here are a few pics from our fun...
