(I missed a few Fridays due to the move, but I'm hopefully back on the blogging track!)
Grace got mad at Darren for something one day. She looked him in the eye & said, "I want my dadgum Nana!"

We would go to El Toro in Greenville on Tuesday nights to hear the Mariachi Band play. One Tuesday night as we were leaving Darren was singing along to the song they were singing and Grace told him, "just because they're singing doesn't mean you have to sing too!"

A short convo I overheard between Nana (my mom) & Grace:
Nana to Grace after she got dressed one morning: "You're beautiful!"
Grace: "I suppose so."

Grace went through a period of asking us if we were happy. If we responded with "no" then she would say, "I'll make you happy!"

We were at Darren's parents for a visit & one morning I was getting Grace's milk cup for her. She was very particular about her morning milk. It had to be in a sippy cup & she had to have it warmed up...she called it "hot milk". I gave her cup to her & it wasn't hot enough. I warmed it up a little longer & gave it back. She looked up at me after trying it again & said, "now that's what I'm talking about!"
